What is Listopolis?

Listopolis is a simple list-sharing service. You create lists, they get a URL, other people can view and remix them. That's pretty much it.

Privacy & Data

What we collect:

  • The lists you create (title, items, theme)
  • Basic server logs (IP addresses, timestamps) for security and debugging
  • If you remix a list, we store which list it was based on

What we don't collect:

  • No accounts or passwords
  • No emails
  • No tracking cookies (though our ad partner may use cookies - see below)

Ads: We display simple sponsorship ads. These are static images served directly by us - no tracking cookies, no third-party scripts, no behavioral targeting. What you see is just a picture and a link.

Your Content

You own your lists. When you create a list, you retain ownership of that content. However, by posting it here, you grant us permission to:

  • Display it publicly on Listopolis
  • Allow others to remix (copy and modify) it
  • Include it in embeds on other websites

Lists are public and permanent by design. Think of it like publishing - once it's out there, people may have seen it, remixed it, or embedded it.

Content Rules

Don't be a jerk. Specifically, don't post:

  • Illegal content
  • Harassment, hate speech, or threats
  • Spam or scams
  • Other people's private information
  • Content that violates someone else's copyright

We reserve the right to remove any content for any reason, but especially for the above. Repeat offenders may be blocked.

DMCA / Copyright

If you believe content on Listopolis infringes your copyright, email us at legal@sawbladesllc.com with:

  • The URL of the infringing content
  • Proof that you own the copyright
  • Your contact information

We'll review and remove infringing content promptly.

No Warranties

Listopolis is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about:

  • Uptime or availability
  • Data preservation (back up anything important!)
  • Accuracy of user-submitted content

We're a small operation doing our best, but stuff happens.

Liability

We're not responsible for:

  • Content posted by users
  • How people use information from lists
  • Any damages from using (or not being able to use) this service

Use common sense. Don't make important life decisions based on random internet lists.

GDPR & International Users

Why no cookie popup? Because we don't use cookies. Seriously. No tracking cookies, no session cookies, no cookies at all from us. Nothing to consent to.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.):

  • Access: Your lists are public - you can see them anytime
  • Deletion: Email us to request removal of a specific list
  • Data portability: Copy your list content anytime (it's just text)

Legal basis: We process data based on legitimate interest (providing the service you're using) and your implicit consent when you choose to publish a list.

Data location: Servers are in the United States. By using this service, you consent to your data being processed there.
